There are many local students being recognized for their achievements and hard work. One that has received a coveted scholarship is Uintah High School’s Carson Coltharp. Carson is the recipient of the 2022 Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Scholarship. This achievement is rare as he is one of only six Utah student-athletes to receive it. “The scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and academic success in the classroom and on the field during their high school athletic careers,” shares the school announcement. “Each of the student-athletes honored on Friday night has a 4.0 GPA, has lettered at least nine times, has earned Academic All-State awards and have served as captains and leaders for their peers.” Congratulations Carson Coltharp on your accomplishment!
