The Uintah School District has offered a heartfelt thanks for a generous donation. Blowishes for Emily donated $2,500 to the school district’s Foods Department. The money will be used to settle students’ school meal accounts if they have an outstanding balance. “Blowishes for Emily is a charitable organization created by the family of Emily Stratton. Emily was 16 years old when she passed away in August 2014 on what should have been her first day of her sophomore year at Uintah High School. Her legacy of kindness toward others lives on through the good works done by the foundation that bears her name.”
