Uintah School District has several important announcements. First, the District will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, February 25th, at 4 p.m. for the purpose of approving capital outlay projects for Fiscal Year 2027. The meeting will be held in the boardroom at the district office in Naples. Those who wish to provide online comment can find the link in the February 20th Weekly District Update on www.uintah.net or at surveymonkey.com. Another important thing to note in Uintah School District is that the first Kindergarten Roundup for the 2026-2027 school year is less than two weeks away. Some things to know: Kindergarten Roundup is optional but the event helps schools estimate how many kindergarten students to expect next school year. Kindergarten Roundup is at Discovery Elementary on March 4th and 5th, Eagle View Elementary on April 2nd, Ashley Elementary on April 14th, Davis Elementary on April 14th and 15th, Maeser Elementary on April 16th, Naples Elementary on April 17th, and Lapoint Elementary on April 24th. Children must be 5 years old by September 2nd to qualify for kindergarten attendance. Contact your school for times and what to bring.
