Uintah School Board Starts Search for New Superintendent

The search is underway for a new Superintendent for Uintah School District. Superintendent Dockins announced his resignation on November 7th explaining that he accepted a position as Vice President of Development at UBTech starting in January. 

“During a special work session held on November 22nd, the school board worked page by page through a draft announcement for the superintendent vacancy,” shares an announcement from Uintah School District. “The special work session was held at the Uintah School District Office…The board has authorized the district’s Human Resources Department, under the direction of Rick Johnson, to forward the agreed upon draft announcement to Utah School Boards Association Executive Director Richard Stowell for publication. Stowell assists and supports local school boards whenever it becomes necessary to find a new superintendent.” Prospective candidates must submit applications by 4:00 pm on Thursday, December 12th.
