What do you get when you cross Thomas the Tank Engine with a rock musical by the same man who wrote

Cats

and

The Phantom of the Opera

? Well you would get the musical

Starlight Express

and it is being put on by the talented theatre department of Uintah High School. “It is a SPECTACULAR!” shares Uintah Theatre Director Chris Piner. “It is all coming together right now.” The play is about train engines racing and features some of the most out of this world costumes to hit the Uintah Theatre stage. On top of these exciting elements, the entire play is performed on roller skates. There is not, nor has there been anything that is quite like it. Having a show with such demanding set needs will highlight the positives of the newly renovated Uintah High School auditorium. It will also be a shining tribute to the dedication of the actors, actresses, and behind the scenes people that dedicated themselves to the show.

Starlight Express

opens
this Friday, March 8th
, and runs select nights through the 16th. Tickets are available at

www.uintah.net

and all seating is reserved.
