It was an exciting week for the Uintah High Boys Golf Team. This group of young men won the Region 8 Championship and had three golfers place in the Region Top 10 individually. “Eastyn Ewell finished 1st as an individual in Region 8, Korver Hawkins finished 2nd, and Sutton Harris finished 10th. The Utes are preparing for the 4A State Tournament, which is set for October 8th and 9th at Lakeside Golf Course in West Bountiful.” Another Uintah team that is on a roll is the marching band. They swept the competition over the weekend in Logan at the Bridgerland Band Invitational, winning Best Guard, Percussion, Visual, and Music. Congratulations to these hardworking youth and their coaches and support system.
