Uintah High School’s EmmaLyn Day was named the Northeast Region Sterling Scholar in Trades and Technical Education at the Northeast Region Sterling Scholar Competition at Utah Valley University on Monday. Tori Barrus (Social Science), Anya Brown (English), Alec Rimmasch III (Mathematics), and Gentry Yeaman (Visual Arts) all earned regional runner-up honors. 19 total schools sent students to compete in the Northeast Region competition. Great job to all the youth who competed!
