Uintah High School has a wide variety of clubs and extracurriculars, hopefully enough to help any student find a place to make friends and belong. A new group at the high school is aimed at helping girls during what is often a challenging stage of life. Girl’s Lunch Group was “created to help girls discuss and deal with issues and situations that girls often face during their teenage years.” The group will be meeting every Monday for 6 weeks,
starting Monday, April 9th
, in the counseling center conference room of the high school. All participants are required to have parent permission. The group’s purpose is to discuss and share empowerment for girls in real life situations.
