Athletics are taken seriously at Uintah High School but apparently the athletes, coaches, and fans know how to keep their competitive nature in check. Uintah High School has earned the Region 10 Best Sportsmanship Award for the 2017 Fall Athletics Season. “This was voted on by all the schools in our region,” shares Uintah High Principal Sharon Shipton, who adds that she was told Uintah won by a large margin. “Our student body rocks,” Shipton adds. “We know that our student body, staff, parents, and community members will help us win this award again for the Winter Sports Season.” Congratulations to Uintah Athletics for representing the Basin so well!
