The Uintah FFA program continues to excel and they have the awards to prove it. The Uintah FFA Agronomy team won 1st place at the state competition. Team members include Sidney Anderson, Rope Williams, Conner McKee and Konner Hancock. These impressive Uintah students will go on to represent Utah in the National Contest at the National FFA Convention in 2026. Other teams that competed well were the Uintah FFA Soils/Land Evaluation team that placed third and the Uintah’s Veterinary Sciences team that placed sixth. The Soils/Land Evaluation team members are Sadie Slaugh, Paide Liebhardt, Melody Liebhardt and Brinslee Thomas. The Veterinary Sciences team members are Daisy Liebhardt, Jordan Thronton, Bragen Searle, Kimber Farnsworth and Abbie Olsen. Daisy placed seventh high individual in the Vet contest. Taryn Kidd of Uintah FFA’s Floriculture team was 5th place high individual in that event out of over 190 competitors. In Livestock evaluation Josie Wilkins placed 12th high individual in over 200 competitors. “We are very proud of our students,” shares Uintah FFA Advisors Quay Walker and David Wilson. “They have worked hard. It’s rewarding that because of hard work and dedication our teams did well.”
