Uintah County has congratulated the winners of the 2025 Rise & Thrive Business Speed Pitch Competition. The competition is hosted by the Uintah County Economic Development office and the Vernal Innovation Hub, in partnership with the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity. Tuesday’s announcement shared information about the winners for those who were not able to attend the event. The 1st place winner was Seth Taylor with Whack-A-Sign, a local manufacturer with a patented design for customizable signage which can be securely attached to a common T-post fence post. The 2nd place winner was Dalton Reynolds with KD Sanitation, a service provider that picks up your garbage can from your house, dumps it, and puts it right back, so customers never miss trash day. The 3rd place and People’s Choice winner was Amber Toler with Dyno Outfitters, an adventure guide company offering retail climbing gear, gear rentals, and guided tours of the Ashley Gorge Via Ferrata.
