The public is invited to attend the Uintah County Commission meeting today during which the Commission will consider a Resolution to utilize Eminent Domain to access County property in Ashley Gorge. Two private property owners dispute the County’s claims of there being an existing Class D county road and the matter is moving towards the courts. In the meantime, Uintah County is considering the use of Eminent Domain, or condemnation, to establish access. An August 31st press release from Uintah County states that a hearing on the proposed Resolution will be held today, September 15th, at 3pm in the Uintah County Commission Chambers.
