The Uintah County Commission discussed expansion of several Special Service District boards during Monday’s Commission meeting. Commissioners discussed adding 2 positions to the boards of the Impact Mitigation District and Uintah Transportation District. Commission Chairman Bill Stringer emphasized that the boards are making decisions with very limited resources and the Commission wants to be sure that all details are looked at. Having additional board members accommodates the goal of forming subcommittees on some of the boards. The Commission tabled appointments to the Impact Mitigation District. The Commission was split over appointments to the Uintah Transportation Special Service District. Commissioner Brad Horrocks motioned to appoint Bart Haslem and Dan Dilsaver to the Transportation District board. The motion failed.
