It was a successful summer for the Uintah County Library’s Summer Reading Program. The program wrapped up this month with a long list of readers winning prizes for their efforts. This year the program had 1,114 participants sign up with 154 patrons completing the program. That 154 patrons was made up of 80 children, 22 tweens, 5 teens, and 47 adults. In addition to the 9-week reading program, 9 weekly activities were held with a great response. A total of 2,732 participants attended the Summer Reading Activities this summer. The activities were held on Thursdays and each had a different theme and multiple stations. The Space Rocks! Activity in June was among the favorites with a long line of kids able to enjoy shooting off the rockets they made at the event. To see what the Uintah County Library will be up to next, visit
