Uintah County Library Summer Reading Program

Read all summer so you don’t get dumber! The motto of the Uintah County Library summer reading program has a nice ring to it but another reason to sign kids up is the fun that can be had in the pages of a book. This summer’s theme is ‘Build a Better World’ and readers are eligible to earn points and win prizes. The program runs May 29th through August 21st and includes activities held throughout the summer at the library itself. It’s also easier than ever to participate using the online resources. “All of the reading logs and activities are online,” shares Uintah County Library Director Sam Passey. “The online portion of the reading program suggests activities, provides book suggestions, and will encourage children to discover new worlds in books!” The program is meant for readers of all ages.
