The Uintah County Library is committed to their mission to “support people of all ages in their quests to learn, grow and discover.” For the young learners, however, this quest must be done with an adult in tow. According to Library Director Sam Passey, spring break was a busy and exciting time at the library that warrants a friendly but firm reminder to parents and caregivers. “Spring break [was] a good dress rehearsal for summer,” shares Passey. “We had a lot of children too small to be in the library by themselves left alone without parents or caregivers in the building with them for long hours. Any child under the age of nine needs to remember to bring their grown ups with them to the Library.” Library resources and rules are available at
