Uintah County Library Offerings For Local Youth

by | Mar 11, 2022 | News | 0 comments

The Uintah County Library is a haven and learning center for many people but perhaps most especially for local teens. Something the library is offering for youth ages 15 to 23 is an Adulting 101 Life Skills Class. The March classes are focused on Job Readiness with a resume writing class on March 16th at 4pm and a job interviewing class on March 23rd at 4pm. Registration is required. Another offering focused on helping local youth is the 3rd annual prom clothing drive. The TNT youth council is accepting donations of formal wear that local teens can utilize for the upcoming prom dances. Donations can be dropped off at the Uintah County Library, the Heritage Museum, or USU Extension Office. Teens can attend the prom clothing giveaway on April 15th and 16th at the Vernal Elks Lodge from 10am to 5pm. For questions about any of these events, please contact Jen Garcia at 435-789-6285.
