Uintah County Fair Postponed Due to Scheduling Conflicts

The Uintah County Fair has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts. Western Park administration explains that when restrictions started to lift, entertainers and activities were booked up incredibly fast. The dates that were available already had other events scheduled for the Uintah County facilities and it was ultimately decided the fair would have to be postponed and they would look to 2022 instead. While the large-scale fair is postponed, there are still events that are typically part of the county fair to look forward to this summer. In fact, the Miss Uintah County pageant will be tomorrow(Saturday) at the Uintah Conference Center at 6pm and the Jr. Livestock Show runs next week, June 7th through the 11th, along with Dynamite Jackpot. The 4H exhibits will also be on display for the community to come enjoy. The Dynamite Jackpot finale will be July 15th through the 17th at the same time as a second Carnival coming to the Western Park. The demolition derby will be part of the Redneck Roundup August 6th through 8th at Buckskin Hills. Finally, the Horse Show that is usually part of the Uintah County Fair is scheduled for August 7th. While postponing the county fair this year is a disappointment, the process is already underway to ensure that next year’s fair is a fantastic event. For now both June and August are being explored as options for the 2022 fair, and as you might expect, it will come down to scheduling.
