The Uintah County Commission is meeting today and the public is invited to attend. The agenda items include Utah Retirement Systems 2026-2027 Retirement Rates, County Property Easement Consideration, Interlocal Strikeforce Agreement Amendment, the Security and Bailiff 2026-2027 Contract, D2 Real Investment Rezone, Uintah School District Rezone, and Acceptance of BLM Right of Way Grants. The agenda also includes a Public Auction on a request to obtain leases for oil and gas extraction on certain private property with mineral rights owned by Uintah County. The Notice states that the sealed proposal(s) received by the Uintah County Commission will be opened at the regularly scheduled Commission Meeting that begins today at 3:00 p.m. and that Uintah County will award the proposals that are most advantageous to the County that demonstrate competence at a fair and reasonable price and adhere to Uintah County Code.
