Uintah County Commission Meeting Highlights

The Uintah County Commission met for their regular weekly Commission meeting on Tuesday. A representative from the Museum of Uintah County gave a 2025 report. The museum welcomed 11,043 visitors which included 4,154 people who attended museum events. The museum also appreciated 500 volunteer hours given. Uintah Animal Control and Shelter Director Devin Cobb presented an Ordinance to the Commissioners regarding cruelty to animals to better define the responsibilities of pet owners. It was approved by the Commission. The Commission also approved the Science Across America Agreement. The Commission ratified the Library Services and Technology Act grant agreement, which will fund the purchase of laptops. Finally, the Commission approved the renewal of the Narcotics Strike Force interlocal agreement, with Daggett County now joining the partnership.
