A change in the Uintah County Commission meeting schedule has been announced. During the regular commission meeting held on Tuesday, May 13th, the Uintah County Commissioners passed Ordinance #05-13-2025 O1, changing the time of the regular Commission work session. Beginning June 4th, work sessions will be held on Wednesday’s at 10:00AM in the Commission Large Conference Room of the Uintah County Building. “A County Commission Work Session is an informal meeting where commissioners gather to discuss county business, review reports, and receive updates from department heads, staff, and other stakeholders,” shares the announcement. “Unlike regular commission meetings, no formal votes or final decisions are made during a work session. Instead, it serves as a forum for open dialogue, strategic planning, and preliminary discussions on policy issues, budget considerations, project updates, and community concerns.
