The Uintah County Commission approved proposed budget increases during a recent Commission meeting. County budget officer Mark Caldwell presented the budget items in need of adjustment. A few of those items include fuel costs that have increased by $150,000 dollars; a library request to purchase two new servers, an increase in the drug court budget for training and education, construction planned for the 9-1-1 Dispatch Center, and airport construction. Caldwell included in his presentation where the revenue will come from for the budget increases. The minutes for his presentation are available on pmn.utah.gov. A public hearing was held following Caldwell’s presentation after which the Commissioners unanimously approved Resolution 9/13/2021 to adjust the budget.
