The Uintah County Commission approved the County fee schedule during their Monday meeting. Among the discussion was a new uniform rate for cemetery lots in Uintah County. Uintah County Attorney Jonathan Stearmer explained that previously only Maeser, Rock Point, and Vernal Memorial Park were a rate of $300 dollars. Dry Fork and Hayden were at $200 dollars and Avalon, Gusher, Jensen, Lapoint, Leota, and Tridell were $250 dollars. The new uniform rate for all the cemeteries is $300 dollars. Clerk Auditor Mike Wilkins stated that Dry Fork is an unimproved cemetery but one with no lots currently available. The Commission approved the fee schedule as presented.
