Uintah County 2022 General Election Results

A total of 10,651 ballots were cast as of November 8th in the Uintah County General Election bringing preliminary voter turnout to 61.21 percent. In the Uintah County Commission Seat B race, Sonja Norton received 81.45 percent of the vote over Steven Huber with 18.55 percent of Uintah County votes.

The following were on the ballot unopposed, therefore receiving 100 percent of Uintah County votes: John Laursen for Uintah County Commission Seat A, Denise R. Maynard for Uintah School District #2 and incumbents Jaymon J. Thomas for Uintah County Attorney, Michael W. Wilkins for Uintah County Clerk-Auditor, Steve Labrum for Uintah County Sheriff, Dave W. Chivers for Uintah School Board District #1, and Robin McClellan for District #3.

Election canvassing for Uintah County will take place November 21st at noon in the Commission Chambers. Clerk/Auditor Mike Wilkins reported that there was an excellent in person voting response on Tuesday with 536 votes in person.
