The Uintah Conference Center continues to grow with 2021 reportedly being its biggest year yet. Uintah County Commissioner Brad Horrocks attributes the growth to Conference Center general manager Tracy Smuin and staff who “have worked hard to market the center to state and regional organizations for training and corporate conferences. Second, they have expanded the use beyond conferences making it a true multi-purpose community facility.” The Conference Center has welcomed conference goers this week from Wyoming, Nevada, and Idaho for the 4-day Sew Simply Stitched Quilting retreat. “The Uintah Conference Center is successful in hosting events of all types that continue to bring participants from out of the area to experience what the Uintah Basin has to offer,” shares Smuin. “Our local community is utilizing the facility with a wide variety of events, hosting company meetings, wildlife banquets, safety meetings, trade shows, piano recitals, awards banquets, graduations, dinner theaters, weddings and religious celebrations. The conference center is also very honored to be a part of memorial and funeral services of your loved ones.” Smuin invites those who haven’t had the chance to drop by and tour the facility to see all it has to offer.
