Uintah Boys Win 54th Annual Tournament Of Champions; Uintah Girls Finish Just 3.5 Points Behind 1st Place Wasatch High

The Uintah High Boys Wrestling Team won their third consecutive title at the 54th Annual Tournament of Champions over the weekend. Ethan Sharp, Caden Young, and Rykan Hacking each won individual titles. There were many other podium finishers. Those that finished in 2nd place in their weight class include Josuha Garcia, Drayger Cloward, Griffin Rhoades, Lukas Turner, and Bryce Jensen. The Uintah High Girls Wrestling Team finished just 3.5 points behind 1st place Wasatch High, placing 2nd at the Girls Tournament of Champions over the weekend. Leena Sharp and Sadie Rhoades each won individual titles. The girls team also had many podium finishers. Those that finished in 2nd place in their weight class include Kenna McCauley and McKinlee Collett. Sharp was also named the tournament’s Outstanding Wrestler for the lower weights. Congratulations to all the Uintah wrestlers and their coaches!
