Season 6 of the Uintah Basin Youth Chamber Orchestra is wrapping up and the community is invited to a magical evening for their final concert of this school year. ‘A Night In The Magic Kingdom’ will take place tomorrow evening in the Uintah High School Auditorium. “We are coming to the end of another season with the Uintah Basin Youth Chamber Orchestra,” shares Teresa Rasmussen, UBYCO President. “It has been a privilege to assist these students in their musical pursuits. Dr. Oviatte-Shearer and Mr. Gibson have held evening rehearsals for the past 7 months and have assisted greatly in our children’s talent. Playing a stringed instrument is not easy….but with great directors music comes to life. We are excited to hear their last concert and invite music lovers of all ages to come enjoy.” The Disney inspired concert starts at 7pm on April 9th and all that would like to are invited to dress up as their favorite character. Tickets are $5 for adults while youth 18 and under are free.
