Uintah Basin Healthcare has shared that out of an abundance of caution they are sharing information on symptoms of measles in order to keep the community informed. There have been 9 confirmed cases of measles in Utah and the Utah Department of Health & Human Services has shared the following recommendation: If you are experiencing a rash on your head and torso after having a fever, respiratory symptoms, or watery eyes, AND you are not vaccinated against measles, OR have recently traveled outside the country, OR have had direct exposure to measles, please do not enter any medical facility before calling to coordinate your care.
