Uintah Basin Healthcare Mask Requirements

by | May 29, 2020 | News | 0 comments

Even though Utah is slowly returning to a normal state, there are still precautions that need to be taken. Uintah Basin Healthcare clarified masking requirements for patients and approved guests. The CDC recommends wearing a face mask where social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. As such, all patients and approved well guests are required to wear a face mask when in UBH facilities. UBH asks the community to help conserve their Personal Protective Equipment by bringing your own mask when visiting the facilities. If you do not have a mask you can request one at coronavirus.utah.gov. If you do not have a mask the facility can provide you with one, but asks that you return the cloth face mask in the marked bins as you exit so it can be washed and reused. Children under the age of 2 do not need a mask. For those that are still looking for a service opportunity, UBH needs cloth face masks. Visit www.ubh.org/service-opportunities to view sewing instructions and masks can be donated at the Roosevelt UBMC ER entrance or the Vernal Urgent Care entrance.
