UDOT announced that they will temporarily close the northbound passing lane in two locations along US-191 north of Vernal as part of the US-191 realignment project.
The south closure is between mileposts 364.8 and 365.5, north of Red Fleet State Park. The north closure is between mileposts 375.5 and 368, after the final switchback along that section of US-191. “Traffic will remain open in both directions,” shares the announcement. “Motorists are advised to stay alert and remain cautious through these areas as heavy equipment enters and exits the work zone. Recreational motorists should plan ahead to avoid potential delays due to the passing lane closures.”
