Spring is here and UDOT is getting started on their 2022 construction projects. The first major project that will affect many Uintah Basin travelers is highway and bridge repairs in the Heber area. “U.S. 40 is the primary route from the Uintah Basin and the Wasatch Back to the Wasatch Front, not only for trucks and commuters but also for recreational travel,” said UDOT project manager Craig Hancock. “Keeping the highway in good condition is a high priority for us, and our project will help maintain this critical transportation link.” Other UDOT projects for 2022 will include Highway 40 from Soldier Creek Road to Duchesne, SR208 from Highway 40 to SR 35, two projects on SR 87, the 1000 South signal in Naples, and Moonshine Arch Access US 191, among others.
