UDOT’s 2023 construction list includes 7 projects for the Uintah Basin, one of which is in Daggett County. The UDOT project will resurface US-191 from Little Hole Road to the Wyoming state line. This will chip seal and correct the roadway profile of an 8-mile section of Highway 191 from a mile west of Dutch John to the state line. UDOT anticipates traffic impacts. Motorists should expect one-way traffic with flaggers posted to direct vehicles through the work zones and moderate travel delays. Construction is expected to begin in late spring to run through summer 2023.
