Tis’ the season for road construction and delays. The Utah Department of Transportation has started work on an 11-mile segment of Highway 40 east of Duchesne City. According to UDOT, the work extends from approximately 300 East in Duchesne to the bridge over Antelope Creek. Paving work is scheduled to begin August 22nd and drivers will be restricted to one lane from 7am to 7pm Monday through Thursday and 7am to 3pm on Friday. Moderate travel delays are to be expected as flaggers and pilot cars direct motorists through the work zone. Please slow down and be aware of workers in the construction zone.
