The UBTech Titans received a record breaking 9 national medals during the National SkillsUSA Championships in Atlanta, Georgia. Ayden Stratz received Gold in Motorcycle Service Technology, the Health Knowledge Bowl Team of Ariana Bess, Jessica Hatch, Dacey Jorgensen, and Evelyn Woodland received Silver, and there were 4 Bronze medalists: Merek Sharp in Medical Math, Strayden Olsen in Welding, Pierce Woodward in Carpentry, and Wyatt McKee in Power Equipment Technology. UBTech sent 32 students to represent Utah at nationals and 24 of those placed in the top 10. “This year is another remarkable chapter in UBTech’s SkillsUSA legacy,” shares UBTech President Aaron Weight. “To consistently produce national medalists year after year speaks volumes about our students, faculty, and the culture of excellence here at UBTech.” Strayden Olsen’s medal adds to his Gold from last year making him a two-time national medalist. The Gold medal for Ayden Stratz was his second national title in Motorcycle Services Technology and his third consecutive podium placement.
