The UBTech Student of the Year is Practical Nursing student Faith Burk. Faith lives in Vernal with her husband Daniel and their six children. Before enrolling at UBTech, she struggled to believe she could go back to school and become a nurse while still balancing life as a wife and mother. One day she decided to go for it and enrolled in the UBTech evening Nursing Assistant program. By 2017, she enrolled in the Practical Nursing program with the goal to become a Registered Nurse and a Certified Nurse Midwife or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Faith has taken advantage of every opportunity that has come her way and is excited to help others and spread the message of the power of technical education.
