Following the UBTech graduation commencement on May 2nd, the Practical Nursing and POST graduates took their pledges and received awards. There were 22 Practical Nursing students who took the Nightingale Pledge that they will adhere to the nursing profession code of ethics. Awards were given to Tara Callaoway for Best Performance, Haily Johnson for Ultimate Growth, Jaycen Walker for Highest GPA, and Rachel Evans with the Florence Nightingale Award. There were 14 cadets who graduated from POST Satellite Academy. The cadets completed Basic Corrections Officer, Special Functions Officer, and/or Law Enforcement Officer programs. The cadets were sworn in by Naples Police Chief Mark Watkins and awards were given to Daniel Harmon for Academics, Jason Calder for Firearms, Korbin Green for Physical Fitness, and David Lacy with the Cecil Gurr Award. Congratulations to all the Practical Nursing and POST graduates.
