UBTech on Need for CDL Drivers

by | Mar 11, 2019 | News | 0 comments

UBTech is spreading the word: There is a shortage of CDL qualified truck drivers with close to 51,000 drivers needed to make up for it. “Almost everything we use is moved across the country by truck, so without truck drivers our whole country would be at a standstill,” says Seth Taylor, CDL Instructor for UBTech. UBTech has a highly accredited program for CDL truck driver training. They are also fortunate in that they have a great scholarship program with $334,000.00 dollars given so far for CDL driver training. Classes for CDL are year round and open entry. Students are able to get real experience by driving trailer loads of recycle materials to Salt Lake City. UBTech classes are not just limited to students. The college also offers specialized classes in various areas related to driving to help improve skills, provide current information to experienced drivers, and tailor training to specific needs.
