Part of the privilege of living in a small town community is witnessing the many acts of service given. Uintah Basin Healthcare recently highlighted such a story when mentioning in a Facebook post that they were going through their COVID-19 testing supplies “extremely fast”. In a case of serendipity, UBTech had received more than they needed and reached out to the hospital. UBTech was able to donate 2,560 rapid BinaxNow tests. Uintah Basin Healthcare’s response says it all: “This is what living in the Uintah Basin is all about – looking out for each other and supporting the best interest of those we care for. Thank you Uintah Basin Technical College.”
