A local man has received a well deserved award. During the annual Rural EMS Directors Association of Utah conference held in Cedar City last week, Von Johnson was named the EMS Director of the Year. Johnson is the EMS Director at Uintah Basin Healthcare and has given many years of service in the Uintah Basin. “Von is a hero to many, and is the definition of selfless service and dedicated leadership,” shares UBH Vice President Maigen Zobell. “We are beyond blessed to have him lead our EMS crew here at Uintah Basin Healthcare!”
