Martin Luther King Day has become an annual day of service for many Americans and the Uintah Basin Association of Governments is inviting community members to join the cause. UBAOG is hosting a community hygiene kit drive with drop off kits in Daggett, Uintah, and Duchesne County. Items needed include dental, hair, and nail care items, wash cloths, hair combs, bars of soap, deodorant, sanitary products, backpacks or handbags, and manual can openers, as well as other helpful hygiene items. Donations can be dropped off at the following local senior centers by January 12th: Manila Senior Center, Golden Age Senior Center, Crossroads Senior Center, Gateway Senior Center, or the Uintah Basin Association of Governments.
