Two boys were seriously injured on Thursday in a farm truck accident in Duchesne County. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office shared the following: On the evening of July 10, 2025, the [Sheriff’s Office] responded to a serious incident in the 4000 North area of Tabby Lane, in the Tabiona area… A 19-year-old male was operating a truck while two family members, a 9-year-old boy and a 6-year-old boy, were riding on the tailgate. The group was reportedly headed to a nearby field to change water wheel lines when the vehicle hit a bump on the road. Both children fell from the truck and sustained serious injuries. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene. Due to the severity of the injuries, two medical helicopters were called, and both children were airlifted to Primary Children’s Hospital on the Wasatch Front for advanced medical care. “This is a heartbreaking incident,” said Sheriff Travis Tucker. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this incredibly difficult time.” The incident is under investigation by the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office.
