Two Arrested On Drug Charges During Traffic Stop

A traffic stop in Roosevelt ended in arrest for two individuals after Methamphetamine was found, divided up for distribution. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, a traffic stop was performed and the officer noticed the driver and passenger appeared especially nervous. A K9 officer came to assist and a check was performed with the K9 giving a positive indication on the vehicle. The driver was identified as Quinn Alan McDonough. The passenger was identified as Kaidee Blodgett. Both were asked to step out of the vehicle and were searched. A criminal history check revealed that Kaidee had been convicted of multiple felonies. As Kaidee stepped out of the vehicle, a firearm was revealed under her person. While searching Kaidee’s person, the officer located a bag containing large amounts of methamphetamine divided into individual sandwich bags. Several other items were also found in her front pocket and another pocket on her, including a meth pipe, a small container with residue, a bag of suspected marijuana, and more methamphetamine as well as other paraphernalia. Between the driver seat and the door, a syringe was located with suspected amphetamines inside it. A magazine to a different handgun was found on the floorboard on the driver side, where the driver was sitting. Both were placed under arrest. Quinn McDonough is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and other misdemeanor weapon and drug charges. Kaidee Blodgett is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Prohibited Dangerous Weapon, 3rd Degree Felony Possession With Intent to Distribute, and other misdemeanor drug charges.
