It’s been a difficult few days on Duchesne County roads with two fatal accidents in two days, the first one involving three motorcycles on SR-35 that resulted in three fatalities. According to Utah Highway Patrol, a fatal crash also occurred on Friday on SR-191 in Indian Canyon about 8 miles south of Duchesne. A 2014 Coach Motor Home was traveling northbound when a southbound 1992 Ford Ranger crossed the center median and struck the motor home in the northbound lane. “Both male drivers died at the scene,” shares UHP. “A female passenger in [the] motor home was transported by air to Utah Valley Hospital in critical condition. SR-191 was closed while an investigation was done and clean up was finished.” The driver of the motor home was in his 60s and the driver of the Ford was in his early 40’s. It is unknown why the Ford crossed over into the oncoming lane but the accident remains under investigation.
