TriCounty Health Department has an upcoming public meeting for the Draft Cosmetology Rule. The state legislature asked the state health board to develop rules to ensure public health for services including barber shops, hair salons, estheticians, electrologists, nail salons, and beauty schools. TriCounty Health has been in the process of developing the standards that follow the new guidelines in preparation for inspections. Two public meetings were held in December and the next public hearing has now been scheduled for the Draft Cosmetology Rule on January 12th at 6pm. A link can be obtained through TriCounty Health Department to join the meeting virtually through Google Meet.
