TriCounty Health Department recognizes that health extends beyond the topics of diet and exercise. In fact, with winter conditions starting to set in, TriCounty Health has the following tips for safe winter travel: Have a shovel in your vehicle. Keep a blanket and first aid kit in your vehicle as well as a 72 hour kit. Make sure fluids and tire pressure are at safe levels. Make sure snow is not covering your tailpipe. Tell someone where you are going and your expected arrival time. If you must travel, plan before you go and check the weather. UDOT has traffic cameras that can be checked in real time throughout the state at commuterlink.utah.gov
