Tricounty Health Department has moved to a self collection model for COVID-19 testing. If you need to use the service be sure that you do NOT eat, drink, smoke, use tobacco products, or chew gum for at least 30 minutes before the test. To start, get registered on RedCAP. Grab a test kit and Patient Information Form and take them to your vehicle. Fill out the Patient Information Form and follow the instructions on the test kit. Once that is completed place the bag with the patient information form and saliva sample in the drop box. Lift the flag up or if the flag is already up, leave it up. TriCounty Health says to stay home until you receive the results. Results typically take between 3 to 5 days. If you still haven’t received the results after 5 days, call 435-247-1156. The drop boxes are located in the entryway of the Roosevelt and Vernal TriCounty Health locations.
