TriCounty Health Department has announced Uintah Basin Medical Center Emergency Services and Ashley Regional Medical Center Emergency Department as the first recipients of their newly announced annual Friend of Public Health Award. “This award recognizes organizations that have made an impact on public health throughout the previous year,” shares the announcement. “UBH Emergency Services and ARMC Emergency Department are recognized for their vigilance during the COVID-19 pandemic and what their staff and medical personnel sacrificed and battled during hard times.” A linden tree will be planted at Ashley Regional Medical Center on Earth Day this Friday and there will be displayed a commemorative plaque. Uintah Basin Healthcare will also be given a linden tree and plaque but it will be planted at a later date at the new UBH Wellness Center in Ballard.
