The trial is wrapping up for the Moffat County High School teacher and coach who was charged in 2017 with 10 felony counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child over a sexting relationship with a student that allegedly included sexual images and videos. 36-year-old Justin Folley was teaching high school in Craig and coaching the boys varsity baseball team when he was placed on leave in 2017 from both teaching and coaching. The charges are connected to alleged misconduct with a former student that occurred between 2013 and 2015. He was booked on the felony charges but was eventually given permission by the court to move in with his parent’s in Iowa to await his trial. Folley’s trial got underway last week in Craig. The victim, a friend of the victim, and Folley’s wife all took the stand on Friday. The trial is expected to wrap up early this week.
