Local communities have embraced the tradition of a tree lighting event during the holiday season. A Roosevelt City Tree Lighting and Holiday Kick-Off event will include Santa and other magical friends along with hot cocoa, treats, and a children’s choir. It is happening on December 1st at the Old Mill Park at 4:30pm. The Annual Naples City Tree Lighting event will include hot cocoa, donuts, the children’s choir, and a visit from Santa along with the tree lighting on Tuesday, December 2nd at 6pm at the Naples City Fire Station. The 1st annual ‘Light Up Vernal’ Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is happening on December 6th at 5pm in the park in front of the Uintah County Library. There will be food trucks, family fun, Santa, and vendors from noon until 6pm. Bring new or gently used toys to donate to local families.
