One of the trees auctioned for charity during the Enchanted Forest event is available to see in person. Uintah Basin Medical Center won the tree with a bid of $6,000 dollars which will go to help with the cost of training and expenses associated with local K-9 officers. The ornaments on the tree had the names of canines “Q”, Kimber, and Xen. “Q” was taken by cancer in August after a short 2 year career and some of the ornaments included the thin blue line in special honor of “Q”. The tree was donated by the Duchesne County Commissioners. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office has expressed their gratitude for the Commissioners and to all involved in the Enchanted Forest event. The tree is on display at the Uintah Basin Medical Center.
